I’ve been enrolled in the same Medicare Advantage plan for several years, but I want to look at other options. When can I make a change?

You can change your Medicare Advantage plan during the Medicare Annual Election Period, which runs from October 15 to December 7 each year.

If you make a new Medicare plan selection, your coverage will begin January 1 of the following year. You can also make this change during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (MA OEP), which runs from January 1 through March 31. If you make a change during this time, your new plan will begin the first day of the month following your enrollment.
